If you are experiencing streaming or buffering issues, there are a few quick ways to resolve them.
Refresh the streaming window.
The most common solution is to refresh your streaming window. If a traditional refresh doesn't do the trick, we recommend doing a hard refresh on your device. If you are using a desktop to watch/cast your stream, below are instructions on how to perform a hard refresh:
- On a Mac: Hold ⇧ Shift and click the Reload button. Or, hold down ⌘ Cmd and ⇧ Shift key and then press R.
- On a PC: Hold down Ctrl and click the Reload button. Or, Hold down Ctrl and press F5.
Run an internet speedtest
If you continue to have issues, please follow the steps below to ensure your internet connection is strong enough to watch the show without interruption.
Step 1: Visit www.speedtest.net
Step 2: Press "GO"
Step 3: Once your internet connection has been tested, you will be able to see three metrics – Ping, Download and Upload. Please check the Download metric. Mandolin requires a minimum download speed of 6 megabits per second (Mbps) to view a show.
Switch to a different browser
If the browser on your device is not performing as expected, we suggest re-starting it, switching to a private browsing window, and ensuring that it has the current version installed. If none of these workarounds do the trick, you may need to switch browsers entirely.
